This multi-facetted venue modelled on the Russian country house or second home returns for 2015 after a smash-hit run at Latitude Festival last year. The space will constantly transform as the Dacha moves through time from Tsarist 1913, Socialist 1937 and into post Soviet 1997 over 14 hours. Housing performances, live music from the likes of Katy Carr and Elena Dana, and a kitchen stocked with vodka, tea and Russian snacks, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the space and become part of the piece. Games, theatre performances and political discussion will take place throughout the day, with a DJ joining the Dacha in the evening for a celebration of the country's music and culture from the last century. The Rich Mix will house the home for three days ( 2-4 May) before it transports itself to the Midsummer Kupala Festival in Leyton this June. Find the full schedule of events here.
