When’s the last time you tried something genuinely thrilling? If you’re craving a bit of adventure, then we think it’s time you took on the challenge of Dare Skywalk. It doesn’t matter whether or not you’re a football fan; this unique experience will see you scaling Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, then marvelling at breathtaking views of London (not to mention visiting the world-famous golden cockerel up close!). There’s nothing quite like it, and you can choose to go at daylight, sunset or even at night. The experience is suitable for ages eight and up.

The experience

Up for it? First, you’ll head over to meet your climb guide at basecamp before clipping in and ascending the 100 steps that lead to a wrap-around exposed walkway over the stadium’s roof. It might sound scary, but your expertly trained guide will be on hand at all times to assure you. As you climb, you’ll hear fascinating stories of the history of the stadium that seats over 62,000 fans, as well as tales of the local area.

The views

Put simply, they’re second-to-none. From atop the viewing deck, you’ll take in incredible panoramic views stretching from the Olympic Park and Canary Wharf in the east to Alexandra Palace in the west. The Dare Skywalk experience itself lasts 90 minutes, so plenty of time to take in London’s beauty (and take some killer photos). Next, you’ll step out across the glass-covered South Stand and onto the glass apex which stands a whopping 46.8ft above the pitch below. Think about how you’ll feel – on top of the world!

The sunset

Right now, if you book an afternoon slot and you’re pretty much guaranteed stellar sunset views. It’s ideal, really – head over after work and if the timing is just right, you could get to watch the sun dip over the horizon on your climb from the summit, casting golden light across the stadium. Just check out the ticket page for available ticket climbs.

The post-climb drink

Celebrate your climb with a glass of fizz at the end, or a locally brewed beer or soft drink. What’s more, if you pre-book a drink or book the Edge, you can get a free pint in Beavertown’s Corner Pin Pub which is just outside the stadium. You’ve earned it!
