Comix Creatrix: 100 Women Making Comics

This exhibition champions the work of 100 female artists working within the world of comics. Charting pioneers from the 19th century such as Maria Duval, through to 21st century artists including Posy Simmonds, Simone Lia and Kate Charlesworth, the displays cover every style and subject matter imaginable. Graphic novels, comics and self-published zines never before seen by the public all feature, and show highlights include Nina Bunjevac's 'Fatherland' and Isabel Greenberg's 'Encyclopaedia of Early Earth.'
