Coal Drops Yard Christmas Lights

Coal Drops Yard, King’s Cross’ stylish shopping spot, is getting in the Christmas spirit with some very arty festive lights. The area will play host to ‘Fluorescence’, a piece by award-winning British artist Liz West that explores light and colour via a tree-shaped sculpture daubed in neon hues, and welcome back Liliane Lijn’s ‘Temenos’. The latter is a geometric piece designed to be both an abstracted grove of trees and a magic circle that you can enter and allow the light to surround you with protective energy.
