We're all acutely aware that London is one smog-fest of a city, but Tiger Beer's Clean Air Gallery is creating purposeful creativity from our smoggy streets and hoping to raise awareness about air pollution. Each painting on display is made with Air Ink - created by an innovative device that collects pollution from exhausts before it reached our air (and our lungs), which is then purified and turned into inks and paints. Each picture is made by Air-Ink artists from the top five polluted cities in the UK (London, Glasgow, Leeds, Southampton and Nottingham). Alongside the gallery, there'll be an area for passers-by to try out Air-Ink for themselves and add to a large piece of work.
On Monday Mar 27 head down to McQueen, 55-61 Tabernacle St or Burger & Lobster, 10 Wardour Street where there'll be Live Air-Ink™ painting between 6pm and 9pm.
