Simon Rodway leads this walking tour of Fulham's 1890s Peterborough Estate, a series of red brick villas adorned with terracotta lions – earning them the moniker 'lion houses.' There's also a chance to meet John Rendall, who in the 1960s bought a lion cub –called Christian – from Harrods, keeping it in his World's End flat until its release into the wild via George Adamson's Born Free Foundation in Kenya. The walk is part of Fulham Festival. Booking by email.
