Choral Evensong and Fireworks

A choral evensong service (5.30pm) followed by fireworks (7.30pm) to mark the eight-hundredth anniversary of the Great Fire of Southwark, which destroyed the Cathedral priory in 1212. During the service there will be a laying-down of the current London Fire Brigade standard and the dedication of a new standard. Fireworks can be viewed from either the churchyard or the Cathedral Square. The refectory is open until 8.30pm.
