Nathan Penlington's intriguing performance starts with the real-life discovery of a long-forgotten diary, but from there the audience members, via remote controls, determine the narrative of the piece, resulting in more than 1,500 possible versions and multiple endings. The format is rooted in a 1980s piece by Edward Packard called 'Choose Your Own Adventure', but Penlington's tale is new, and with documentary film, stand-up and spoken word in the mix, is likely to be a hit with lovers of interactive live performance.
