Choose your own adventure: the office Christmas party

It’s 11.30pm and it’s your turn to do a karaoke song. You’re wearing a pink sparkly cowboy hat and holding an inflatable guitar and someone’s just made you do a shot of Corky’s. You’re ready. Three, two, one… you blast out ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. At first everyone feigns enthusiasm, but eventually the room is just silent as you attempt to headbang your way through the guitar solo. You attempt to signal to your crush to skip to the next track but she can’t see. You drop the mic and leave ashamed. You go to a cornershop, buy a Bueno and eat it sadly on the bus home.
