Chinatown Family Day

Chinatown's already colourful and enticing streets will be filled with activities and entertainment for visitors of all ages. The Gerrard Street stage will host fan dancing showcases and for the first time, a Chinese Elvis, while Wardour Street will see traditional Japanese drumming and sounds from an Indonesian orchestra. Magicians, jugglers and stilt walkers will get the crowds warmed up for a spectacular lion dance procession and kids can get stuck into the treasure hunt, ribbon-dancing  sessions or workshops in screen printing and fan making. All activities are free.
