Built in 1371, this ex-plague pit became a monastery, mansion and almshouse before opening as a museum in 2017. It’s still lived in by ‘Brothers’ (although now both male and female) and the magnificent building is a real hidden gem in the heart of the city. Here’s you chance to get a look at the ancient pile after dark. This guided tour will lead you through the site’s extraordinary history by flickering candlelight. Grab a glass of wine and take in the special atmosphere of the Great Chamber and our other creaky rooms and buildings which tell the story of many significant moments in history.
