Chandeliers by Candlelight

A charming tradition has been observed on Kensington High Street during Advent since 1945, when it began as a celebration of the end of World War II. Each year, more than 100 candles are lit in the antique chandeliers in the front window of Mrs Crick’s, a family business (now into its fourth generation) that remained open throughout the war, despite blackouts and Blitz bombings.
