Five years ago a sinister character named The Slender Man was created on an internet forum and began appearing in many fictional stories and fanart online. He's since inspired video series, alternate reality games and allegedly influenced children to commit violent crimes. Writer Cat Vincent discusses the character's beginnings, evolution and influence over those who get caught up in pure fiction in this talk organised by the London Fortean Society.
