Carshalton Lavender Distillation Day

Perhaps the most refreshing escape from the city this summer is these distillation days at Carshalton Lavender Fields. Drop in between during the afternoon to see the heating process take place and experience the development of the sensational scent — you’ll feel miles away from the heavy heat of the city. For those of us really keen to learn, book to volunteer in the morning and assist with harvesting the ripe lavender, from 9 am - kids of 7+ are encouraged, too. Entry is via Oaks Way Gate, and the distillation days are over three Saturdays in August.
