The first ever Buy British Day aims to encourage shoppers to support brands and businesses that design and manufacture their products in Britain. The project has garnered support from several leading business owners and directors (including Wayne Hemingway), all keen to see the Made in Britain stamp common place again.
Exhibitors range from clothing labels, furniture designers, breweries and independent publishing companies. Talks are scheduled throughout the day and a range of food and drink will also be on offer. Check the Buy British Day website for a full list of exhibitors and talks.
