Buckingham Palace Rideout

The Bar Italia Scooter Club relit the flame of the '80s Mod cruise, the Buckingham Palace Rideout, back in 2007 and have kept the flame a-burning. Today, riders will converge at the Great Marlborough St/Carnaby St junction (2pm) to ride en masse through Piccadilly, Westminster and past Bucks Palace, before heading east along the Embankment to the Strongroom Bar in Shoreditch (where there will be free parking). Once there, the winners of the best scooter competition will be announced. Plus, there will be a barbecue, live music and DJs as part of the Timebox weekender taking place at the Strongroom and The Phoenix in Oxford Circus over the bank holiday weekend.
