This British Fashion Council display as part of the London 2012 Festival features specially-commissioned works created by nine pairs of British designers and contemporary artists. The collaborations include an audio track by Hussein Chalayan and Gavin Turk, a full body running suit by Giles Deacon and Jeremy Deller, and a digital work by Mary Katrantzou and Mark Titchner. 'Life' by Jonathan Saunders and Jess Flood-Paddock evolved over experimental sessions during which one of Saunders's jumpers, thrown over a printmaking plate, created a variety of shapes for a series of screenprints. 'Celestial Bonnet' by Stephen Jones and Cerith Wyn Evans comprises five glowing rings of tiny LEDs orbiting a headband, a nod to the five Olympic rings. The work will be suspended over a low podium, enabling visitors to experience 'wearing' the hovering piece.
