Kids set on completing the National Trust's '50 things to do before you're 11 ¾' challenge can tick a few more off the list at Sutton House in May. For those who haven't yet got involved, the NT has compiled a list of essential outdoor experiences for youngsters and each activity can be ticked off online, via an app or in a special '50 things' scrapbook. The Breaker's Yard garden at Sutton House has bouncy tyres, a two-storey caravan and a big greenhouse bus so kids can get started by building dens, setting up snail races, bringing up butterflies and creating wild art. There’s no need to book and activities are included in the entrance fee (or get in for free on Sunday March 31).
