This March Sotheby's will auction off a collection of over 500 curious artefacts and pieces of art which were acquired over decades by just one collector. The objects will be exhibited in the week preceding the sales, and visitors can expect to marvel at themes such as power, sex and death. Two overriding motifs are present – the bear and the skull – and work from artists such as Keith Haring, Damien Hirst and Mark Rothko will appear amidst countless classical and kitsch objects.
