The BBC's central London office was officially opened in 1932 and is still used to produce the radio transmissions it was originally intended for. In 2003 major renovations began and what stands today is a building of two parts – old Broadcasting House and new Broadcasting House (referred to by its users as NBH). Tours run daily and give participants a glimpse of how the Beeb works, with visits to The One Show's studio, the newsroom and plenty more.
