Time Out says

An evening of festive fun in Battersea Square with carol singing, snow, mulled wine mince pies, hot chocolate and more. Award winning comedy trio Sleeping Trees will be flicking the switch to light up the tree alongside the Deputy Mayor at 7pm. Brass quintet Mardi Brass will be playing supported by the choir of St Mary's Church Battersea, Thomas' choral society and singers form local primary schools. As well as drinks there will be stalls selling cakes and Christmas decorations. The evening officially finishes at 7.30 but local bars, pubs and shops will be open into the evening.
