It wasn’t just pagans who went potty over the solstice back in the day. Over in Mexico, the ancient Aztec Empire also liked to mark the celestial movement. Connect with the mysterious Mesoamerican culture as Atlachinolli, one of the only Aztec culture groups in Europe, take over Queen of Hoxton’s Mexican-themed rooftop. Watch them make a traditional Aztec flower carpet and dance to live drums and flute, but not before joining them in an ancient ritual welcoming the sunrise. Expect an early start.
