There are online banks, there are banks that like to say ‘Yes’, and then there’s one bank where your Galleons, Sickles and Knuts are guarded by a Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon.

Gringotts Wizarding Bank opens for business April 6

This spring, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter unveils its biggest expansion yet. The latest permanent addition to the Studio Tour has a major new expansion to explore – and it’s flanked by towering marble pillars and adorned with crystal chandeliers and real brass leaf detailing.

Don’t miss a detail

This brand new, permanent addition to the Studio Tour holds as many surprises for you as it did for Harry on his first visit. Beyond the calm and orderly banking hall, you’ll get up close to set props that have remained unseen since filming ended in 2010 (spot the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s cup: there were only 38,000 pieces of treasure created for filming, so it shouldn’t take long).

Special displays show how the sets were designed and how Bogrod, Griphook and all Gringotts’ goblins were brought to life by the studio’s prosthetics department. You’ll even enter the depths of that Lestrange vault where Hermione went total Bellatrix in ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2’.

Book now

The 16,500 sqft Gringotts Wizarding Bank set has been refreshed and restored by many of the original film crew members. Its official launch is April 6, so book your tickets now and go on the biggest adventure yet into The Making of Harry Potter.
