An Afternoon with Biggles

Delve into the life and career of Biggles creator WE Johns – and of course the life of his creation in this afternoon at activities, starting at the Grahame-White factory - the UK's first aircraft factory. The event includes a peak into the office of aviation pioneer Claude Grahame-White (not always open to the public), and a tour of the WW1 aircraft at the museum, including the Sopwiths that Biggles would have been familiar with, the Bleriot XXVII, the Vickers FB5 and Vimy and an Albatros D.Va replica.
