Africa Centre Summer Festival

The sights and sounds of Africa and its Diaspora are taking over Great Suffolk Street for Africa Centre's Summer Festival. Get ready for a full day of free music, dance, street food and family activities, with tunes from the Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania and more. Listen to iconic African instruments including koras, balafons and drums across three stages and get acquainted with the best in traditional folk, new urban music and dance coming from and inspired by the diverse continent.
