This 1980s themed all-nighter will be a dream for fans of the decade that spawned big hair, Molly Ringwald and countless iconic power ballads. The Museum of London is taking London's love of lates to the next level, staging a lock in that will last till 9am the next day.

After registering and claiming their sleeping spots happy campers will enjoy a three-course dinner and a series of expert talks about Thatcher’s London and fashion in the 80s, from blitz kids to yuppies. There will then be an opportunity to wander the museum and the galleries with access to the current exhibition 'The Crime Museum Uncovered'. From 10.30pm until midnight there will be imporv comedy games inspired by 'Whose Line is it Anyway' and a chance to nail some of those iconic 80s dance moves with instructors from Reflex Dance Studios.

At midnight the movie marathon will begin, carrying on all the way through till morning where a full English breakfast buffet will be waiting at London Wall Bar and Kitchen. There are also VIP tickets available which include private sleeping areas (everyone else can bagsy their spot in the upper galleries), an inflatable mattress, champaign, chocolates and table service at breakfast.
