A Right Royal Menagerie

The Zoological Society of London’s (ZSL) Diamond Jubilee exhibition features photographic images of the Queen's visits to London Zoo, including pictures of the young princess enjoying a behind-the-scenes tour of the penguin pool in 1938. Also on show are artefacts and royal memorabilia from the archives, including a ticket to Queen Victoria’s golden jubilee celebrations at London Zoo in 1887, along with the Society’s Royal Charter, issued in 1829 by George IV.
