A lift for chocolate lovers is coming to Stratford this weekend

Appropriately enough, it sounds absolutely next-level

Given that London is a city that’s growing ever-taller, lifts are a big deal in the capital. From the vertigo-baiting, glass-walled carriages at Heron Tower to the high-tech, high-speed experience at the Shard, we’re not short on entertaining ways of getting to high places. But this unusual new number makes even those look dull.

Popping up at Westfield Stratford for one day only, Cadbury's Out-Of-The-Ordinary Break Bar Lift will introduce riders to the latest in biscuit innovation – the new, multi-textural Cadbury Break Bar – through enticing visual displays and grin-inducing chocolatey smells. But don’t worry, it’s not all just a big tease – the lift will also be well stocked with samples, so you can experience the intriguing contrast of crunchy biscuit, smooth milk chocolatey filling and bold milk chocolate base for yourself. No, pressing the emergency stop button won’t get you another one.

So forget the usual eyes-down, uncomfortable-silence mode Londoners all switch to upon entering a lift – this cocoa-clad anomaly looks set to be a big talking point.

The Out-Of-The-Ordinary Break Bar Lift will be at Westfield Stratford on Saturday March 17.
