The photographer: 'I'm originally from Croatia, but have lived and worked in London for 23 years. I work part-time in primary education which enables me to dedicate quite a lot of time to photography. I initially got into photography through friends but it didn't take long for me to catch the bug and I can't imagine myself being without a camera now. '
The setup: 'I shoot with Canon. Again, it was initially on friend's recommendation. I very quickly acquired several Canon lenses so it made sense to stick with Canon. I currently use a Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 60D, I love the quality and versatility they give me as well as brilliant focusing ability.'
The work: 'I love photographing anything and everything. Most of the time I go out with a particular idea, hoping it will actually materialise. In all honesty, I've got some of my best images when I least expected it. I've learned to be very observant and patient, to follow my instinct and have my camera ready at all times. Although I try various locations, I never get tired of photographing London's architecture, markets, streets and people. It's such a vibrant and versatile place with so much going on all year round – a photographer's dream.'
