It's been 200 years since Napolean was defeated in the Battle of Waterloo, and this commemorative concert will bring some of the excitement and drama of the big event to the stage of the Royal Albert Hall. Sir Tony Robinson will present the scenes and music, which will feature a marching band and musketeers in full military costume. Gareth Hancock will conduct the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for a performance of rousing classical music including Wellington's Victory, which comes complete with live musket fire. Traditional songs such as Scotland the Brave and La Marseillaise are also on the bill.
