Antony Jay and Jonathan Lynn's blockbuster stage adaptation of their hit '80s TV satire enjoyed three London runs prior to this UK tour, and the script has duly been tweaked to refocus matters towards the current age of austerity (though they'll have needed a complete rewrite to do away with the general air of anachronism). The new touring cast features Michael Fenton Stevens as PM Jim Hacker and Crispin Redman as Sir Humphrey Appleby.
