The theatre hammered together from reclaimed wood in 2011 is still standing, two Empty Space Awards and two years later. It's most recent 2013 'collection', as the theatre bods call it (to most of us, a festival) features two shows a night from a series of emerging, distinct companies and theatre makers. 'XXXY?' is a collection of artists pretending to be a punk band who draw on the Riot Grrl movement. The piece runs alongside 'Life on the Refrigerator Door' in the festival, called N.O.W. '14, and the price includes both evening shows.
