In what is quite the coup for the tiny Marylebone Theatre, increasingly big shot director Patrick Marber helms US author Nathan Englander’s adaptation of his own short story collection of the same name. Billed as a ‘serious comedy’, What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank follows two Jewish best friends whose lives have taken very different tacks – one is secular, one is ultra-orthodox.
