Prolific playwright Philip Ridley has been turning out dark, densely imaginative plays since his 1991 debut 'The Pitchfork Disney', and London's theatre scene has a substantial appetite for his back catalogue. Now, last year’s Park Theatre revival of his 2000 play ‘Vincent River’ transfers to Trafalgar Studios 2: its second run at the venue following a different revival in 2007. It explores the aftermath of a homophobic hate crime, as a mother comes to terms with her loss in a flat in Dagenham. Robert Chevara directs Louise Jameson and Thomas Mahy.
