Untitled Matriarch Play

Nikole Beckwith's family comedy in which a woman announces to her five daughters on her 55th birthday that she is determined to mother a son, is the fifth production in the Royal Court's Weekly Rep season. On Caryl Churchill's suggestion, six new plays will be performed over six weeks by the same company of 14 as part of the Royal Court's Open Court festival.
