One of a spate of shiny new London theatres, Turbine Theatre opened in 2019 with Harvey Fierstein's gay classic 'Torch Song'. It's part of the ambitious redevelopment of Battersea Power Station, and sits inside a brick arch alongside hundreds of glossy new flats. Turbine Theatre has 200 seats. Its artistic director is Paul Taylor-Mills, who's made his career as a director and producer of off-West End musicals.
