Time Out says

The Who's iconic rock opera – about a deaf, dumb and blind kid who sure plays a mean pinball –has enjoyed a long and successful life, having been made into a film by Ken Loach in the '70s and a stage musical by the band in the '90s. Now the latter is back in the West End for one night only as a charitable fundraiser for the Pure Theatre Development fun. Former 'X Factor' victor Joe McElderry will be playing the role of the eponymous boy wonder.
