Thomas Tallis

Jessica Swale's piece returns following a run in the inside Sam Wanamaker Playhouse last year. 'Thomas Tallis' is a show in the vein of the Globe's unique play with music 'Gabriel'  by Samuel Adamson. The piece is about the life and work of the Tudor composer from Jessica Swale - whose 'Blue Stockings' was a new writing offering in the Globe's 2013 season. Here members of the great choral ensemble The Sixteen weave performances of some of Tallis's greatest works throughout the show.
