The story of novelist and playwright Patrick Hamilton is brought to the stage by company Midnight Bell in a production directed by Linda Marlowe. Hamilton lived at the turn of the century until 1962 and during his years wrote plays such as 'Rope', 'Gaslight' and the novel 'Hanover Square'. Writer Mark Farrelly takes some of the actual words of the playwright to feature in this piece which tells of Hamilton's descent into alcoholism and a writing career destroyed by drink.
