The Mikado

Charles Court Opera and the Rosemary Branch present a mini-festival of Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, beginning with a new production of the duo's sharp and witty satire of nineteenth-century British politics and institutions, set in the fictitious Japanese town of Titipu. Directed by John Savournin; the designer is Gregor Donnelly; musical direction by David Eaton. The nine sngers are accompanied by The Eaton-Young Piano Duo.
