In what is surely the Park Theatre’s most ambitious production to date – certainly its longest – Shaun McKenna and Lin Coghlan adapt John Galsworthy’s epic novel cycle about the vicissitudes of of an upper middle class, new money Victorian family. Part one, Irene, follows wealthy solicitor Soames Forsyte and the cracks that show in his marriage to his wife Emily when he commissions a new house for her; part two, Fleur, follows their daughter years later as a dark family secret returns to haunt her. Josh Roche directs a cast of Emma Amos, Fiona Hampton, Nigel Hastings, Michael Lumsden, Joseph Millson, Florence Roberts, Andy Rush, Flora Spencer-Longhurst and Jamie Wilkes.
