Time Out says

King of the lonely souls Tennessee Williams wrote 'The Fat Man's Wife' in 1938, but the piece remained unproduced until 2004. That was in New York, though, and the play still hasn't seen these shores. That all changes with this production from Russell Lucas, director of the recent show 'Julie Madly Deeply'. The play itself is set on new year's eve, when sophisticated Manhattan socialite and her husband Joe return home after a party and the man who has been chatting her up all night secretly comes to ask her to run away with him. Ages 14-plus.
