The Blind/The Intruder

A double bill of plays by the little-known symbolist and Nobel prizewinner Maurice Maeterlinck, who influenced the likes of Samuel Beckett. In The Blind, a group of sightless people are abandoned by their protector on an island clifftop, while The Intruder focuses on a family as they wait for a priest to visit their ailing mother.
