Spillikin (A Love Story)

How often do you get a fully functioning, custom-built robot acting in a fringe show? That's just a rhetorical question: we know the answer, and it's basically never. Which makes this rather good show by Pipeline Theatre all the more impressive. It's a heartbreaking story of a woman with Alzheimer's who's cared for by a smart robot, built by her late husband - sci-fi, on a delicately human scale.
