Time Out says

Rising star Josh O'Connor has won an avid fanbase for his roles in 'God's Own Country' and 'The Durrells', and there was a notable buzz when it was announced he'll play a young Prince Charles in the forthcoming new season of 'The Crown'. He's set to woo new audiences to the National Theatre by playing Romeo in August 2020. He'll play alongside fellow screen star, the Irish singer and actor Jessie Buckley, who's starred in hit series 'War and Peace' and 'Chernobyl', as well as movies 'Wild Rose' and 'Judy'.

'Romeo & Juliet' is a contemporary spin on Shakespeare's classic that's set in modern Italy, where secular twenty-first-century values collide with Catholic tradition. Seasoned Shakespeare director Simon Godwin is at the helm, after turning out a blockbuster 'Antony & Cleopatra' for the NT last summer.

Exact dates are TBA, and will go on sale in 2020.
