Well this is intriguing: in this special comission for the World Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare's greatest love story, adapted by Monadhil Daood for Baghdad Iraqi Theatre. In this poetry, music and tradition infused production, the star cross'd lovers are divided not by family but –with undoubted topicality – by Sunni and Shia faiths.
