The all-nighter 'Hotel Medea' was an epic, if a little tiring experience at the Southbank Centre. Now, the creators of that show return to this new digital art-theatre crossover project for one person at a time. Over three weeks at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Brazilian phone boxes have been transformed into mini performance booths. Picking up a phone, audiences hear fictional Brazilian artists who interact with them through digital soundscapes and 'voice, motion and pulse'. The experience starts when you text 'rio' to a free phone number (07903 579 560) and communicate before, during and after the phone booth experience. The booths are active all day, but there are additional live performance experiences. Ages 14-plus. The whole experience takes 45 minutes, with 5-15 minutes for each booth.
