In 1948, a family are forced to leave their home by war in Palestine. Twenty years later, they return to a community that's utterly different, and meet the Israeli family now living in their former house.
Naomi Wallace and Ismail Khalidi's adaptation of Ghassan Kanafani's controversial novella of the same name was originally commissioned by New York's Public Theater, but abandoned after pressure by the theatre's board. It's being directed by Caitlin McLeod, in a production for Finborough Theatre.
