Peter Nichols' 1977 farce follows a song-and-dance troupe's antics as they entertain forces in South-East Asia in the '40s. They drag up in a campy comedy which still asks some questions about the British military's colonial presence, and shows how gay relationships were quietly tolerated when kept behind closed doors. This revival is directed by Kirk Jameson, with Nick Barstow as musical supervisor.
