The theatre hammered together from reclaimed wood in 2011 is still standing, two Empty Space Awards and two years later. It's most recent 2013 'collection', as the theatre bods call it (to most of us, a festival) features two shows a night from a series of emerging, distinct companies and theatre makers. This piece from Mamoru Iriguchi explores physical pain, obesity and body image through the story of a magician's assistant, who was a size six when she started her career and is now a size 38. The show runs alongside 'Britney Spears Custody Battle Vs. Zeus in Swan Rap Shocker' in the festival, called N.O.W. '14, and the price includes both evening shows.
